We have two Blue Badge Guides, Gavin Webb and Diane Burstein, who act as our guides leading a range of educational walks through London.
Gavin has led our walks since the N&D u3a first started. Diane is a colleague of Gavin’s and says she loves to show both visitors and Londoners the hidden corners, courtyards, alleyways and lesser-known sites of her native city.
Each walk meets at 10.35am for a prompt start at 10.45am and generally the walks last about 2 hours. They start and finish at an underground station. £17pp (2026) for the walks with groups of up to 20.

- Friday 19th June 10.45am King’s Cross to Farringdon with Gavin starting at King’s Cross Station
- Monday 6 July 10.45am The Little Venice Walk with Diane starting at Paddington Station
- Wednesday 22 July 10.45am Maritime Greenwich with Gavin starting at Cutty Sark DLR
- Thursday 13 August 10.45am Holborn Byways and Post Building roof top with Diane starting at Holborn Tube Station
